By public transport:
TRAM: Take tram 7 to the ‘Sint-Paulusplaats’ stop.VELO: Velo-station 049, Tolhuis/050, Klapdorp/058, Noorderterras.BIKE: Park your bike in the bike parking under the building.BUS: Take bus 17 to the ‘Antwerpen Van Schoonbekeplein’ stop + a 5-minute walk.
With the car:
– There are Park + Ride (P+R) zones where you can park on various access roads to Antwerp. These are ideal places to switch to the bus, tram, or bike, just a few kilometers from The Beacon.
– The city center of Antwerp and part of Linkeroever (the left bank of Antwerp) are low-emission zones: heavily polluting vehicles are not allowed in the city.
– The city of Antwerp is working towards a pedestrian-friendly center for both visitors and residents. As of August 1, 2023, visitors are no longer allowed to park on the streets.
– The public parking facilities “Rijnkaai” and “Grote Markt” are a 10-minute walk away.
